A New Look

Last time I was on sabbatical I re-did my hand-coded website. I went from my hand codedness to WordPress. I was happy with the move, but after a decade of WordPress, I think it’s time to move on again.

I’ve chosen to move to Astro for my new site. It’s a static site generator that allows me to use modern web technologies like React, Vue, and Svelte, while still keeping the site fast and lightweight.

I’ve used AI to help me with the transition, Antigravity was particularly helpful, but the look and content is still my responsibility.

We’re using the IBM Plex font family for the site, I haven’t totally settled on a color scheme yet, but we’ll get there.

Onward!
